C.A.M.E.O
(Come And Meet Each Other)
C.A.M.E.O is exactly that.
It is aimed at ladies and represents an opportunity to meet and get to
know each other. A chance to not only make new friends, but to discover, explore
and celebrate the Christian faith. You not only get the chance to meet and build
friendships with other ladies from Holy Trinity Congregation, but also get to
spend an informal evening praying, singing and giving thanks with the many
guests who come along to speak and take part in the monthly meetings.
Typical of the many guests C.AM.E.O have been fortunate to have the pleasure of
recently include:
Janet Eastwood who joined C.A.M.E.O for an informal Holy Communion service and
to discuss and explore the Eucharist;
A local Park Ranger who came along to give a talk on local history.
Brenda Woolfe joined C.A.M.E.O to talk about Asylum Seekers in Liverpool.
The Reverend Rupert Hoare Dean of Liverpool and his wife who came along and both gave their account of
life in a Theological college.
Also, last year, in addition to the launch of yet another Shoebox Appeal a night was dedicated to purchasing
and pampering with a range of Body Shop products.
If this sounds like the kind of group you would like to get to know more about. Or even come along and join, all are welcome.
C.A.M.E.O meet every fourth Tuesday in the month at 32 Sinclair Drive from 8.15pm. For more information
Ruth Pryce (722 6680) would be more than happy to help.
